EBL Internet Banking

Customers having Account(s) with Eastern Bank PLC .(EBL) can enjoy Internet Banking (IB) facilities of EBL. Customers may approach for the IB facility either at the time of opening an Account or subsequently any time after opening the Account. If the Customer has an existing IB ID, he/she can tag any EBL Account(s) with the existing IB ID.

Account information:

Account Summary

Under this option customer can view the list of Accounts (both liability & Loan) with Account balance.

Account Details

Under this option, customer can view details of Account like Account opening date, types of Account, hold amount (if any), unclear fund (if any), OD limit, net available balance etc.

Transaction History

Under this option customer can view and download his Account statement.

Fixed Deposit:

FD Account Summary

Under this option Customer can view his FD Account maintained with EBL. Customer can also view the details of FD Account like FD opening date, Maturity date, Interest rate, Interest instruction, maturity instruction etc.

Loan Management:

Under this option Customer can view his Loan Account maintained with EBL. Customer can also view the details of Loan Account like opening date, Maturity date, Interest rate, amount paid till date, next installment date and amount, installment area, loan outstanding etc.


Bill Payment:

Instant Mobile Recharge Service

In order to use this service the Customer will have to register the Biller first (only for the first time). Customer will be able to pay bills and Instant Mobile Recharge after successful registration.
Only following generic TD (FD) products for Customer is allowed in IB module. No specialized product for Customer is allowed in IB. This TD (FD) opening option is for individual Customers only and the minimum amount is BDT 50,000.

Note: Instant Mobile Recharge Prepaid & Postpaid:

  • For Prepaid recharge it can be possible to do min. Tk.10 and max. Tk.1,000 in a single transaction.
  • For Postpaid recharge it can be possible to do min. Tk.50 and max. Tk.10,000 in a single transaction.
  • No paisa or fraction amount will be recharged.

Online Payments

Own Account Transfer (within EBL)

Through this option customer can transfer fund from his one account to other account maintained with EBL.

Internal Transfer (other accounts within EBL)

Through this option customer can transfer fund to otheraccounts maintained with EBL

Internal Transfer (other accounts within EBL)

Customer Services

Cheque Status Enquiry

Through this option Customer can view the status of Cheque issued against his Account. Cheque status can be as Used, Not Used, Stopped etc. For used Cheque, Customer can view the amount of the Cheque also.

Stop Cheque Request

Through this feature the Customer can initiate instruction for stopping a Cheque for clearing.

Cheque Stop Request Withdrawal

Customer can withdraw stop marking of the stopped Cheque. Customer will be allowed for the Cheque marked as stopped through IB only.

Password Change

Customer can change internet baking password through this option.

View Standing Instructions

Customer can view any Standing Instruction if provided by the Customer.

 

Session Summary

The customer will be able to view a log of the transactions performed in a session.
