What is EBL Card Protection Plan?

Eastern Bank Ltd. in partnership with CPP Group Bangladesh brings to you for the first time in Bangladesh, Card Protection Plan, a comprehensive protection plan for EBL credit cardholders. This plan is designed to protect cardholders in the event of card loss or theft, while they are travelling.

What are the Key Features of Card Protection Plan?

24X7 Card Blocking through a Single Call

In case you lose your EBL card (credit & debit card), you need to make a single call to CPP’s 24-hour helpline number at 09612 – 600 400 to block all your lost cards.

Emergency Travel Assistance of up to BDT 200,000

CPP makes sure that you are not stranded while you travel. In the case of an emergency, CPP facilitates hotel booking and charges and book travel ticket for up to BDT 200,000 on behalf of you. You will be required to return the advance to CPP within 28 days of returning back without any interest.

Complimentary Fraud Protection of up to BDT 200,000

Your Card Protection membership provides you with a complimentary protection against card frauds due to online usage, phishing, tele-phishing, PIN based frauds and mobile wallets for up to BDT 200,000. Your mobile wallets are also protected against fraudulent transactions. This add-on benefit gets activated within 7 days of your membership and is provided by Reliance General Insurance Company under the group policy taken by CPP for its customers. Subscription of F-Secure Internet

Security Get comprehensive protection with complimentary F-Secure Internet Security anti-virus, which protects your laptop/PC while surfing, shopping, banking and using social media. An additional layer of security with F-Secure will protect your Internet banking and e-commerce transactions. F-Secure also protects your children against harmful, unsavory websites and keeps your private information and credentials protected.

 

What are the Available Plans?

  • Value Plan (Primary cardholder only) BDT 1,000 + VAT/yearly
  • Classic Plan (Primary cardholder only) BDT 1,500 + VAT/yearly
  • Premium Plan (Primary cardholder plus Spouse) BDT 2,000 + VAT/yearly

 

Visa Signature, Visa Infinite and Mastercard World credit cardholders will receive the facilities of Classic Plan at no cost. Enrollment to RAP program is mandatory to avail the complimentary facilities.

 

What are the customer points to avail Card Protection Plan?

Customers can purchase the plan from EBL Branches and EBL Cards Center. They can also avail the plan while applying for credit card.
