Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) has become the exclusive online payment gateway partner for Astra Airways Limited (Air Astra) to provide secure and seamless digital payment solutions for Air Astra’s online ticket sales. An agreement in this regard was signed at EBL’s Head Office in Gulshan.

Through this partnership, EBL reinforces its leadership in digital financial services, offering travelers a reliable and secure payment experience. Air Astra emphasized that the collaboration will streamline the booking journey for passengers, ensuring greater ease and confidence in online transactions.

The signing ceremony was graced by senior officials from both organizations. Ahmed Shaheen, Additional Managing Director; M. Khorshed Anowar, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Retail & SME Banking; Ahsan Ullah Chowdhury, Head of Digital Financial Services; and Faisal M. Fathe‑Ul Islam, Head of Digital Payments from EBL and Md. Shafiul Asgar, Chief Financial Officer, and Mes‑Bah‑Ul Islam, Chief Commercial Officer from Air Astra were present. Other key officials from both institutions also attended the event.
